The Bang and Olufsen ICEpower sound on the N55SF is exceptional, though you'll need to plug the included mini-subwoofer into its dedicated port to get the Asus N55SF Notebook Nvidia Display experience when listening through speakers. The subwoofer adds the bass that's commonly missing from the vast majority of laptops; it's another item to pack and carry, however, and it isn't particularly svelte, albeit very light.

Of course, the N55SF is not a laptop Asus N55SF Notebook Nvidia Display necessarily want to tote around a lot: It weighs 6. A small part of the reason that the N55SF costs less than the competition is that it ships with the Home Premium version of Windows 7 instead of the Professional edition. The deep wrist rest, with its very pleasant-looking, rubberized surface, is prominent.

The card reader has been moved to the Card reader Left: No interfaces Right: Bluetooth 3. That's probably because of the thick frame surrounding the screen. The keyboard is compactly laid out.

This enables the device to have a complete numeric pad to the right and dedicated media controls on the left but the tradeoff is that some of the keys are too close together which causes Asus N55SF Notebook Nvidia Display during typing. The power button is integrated with the keyboard and rests at the top right corner of the numeric pad.

Above the keyboard rests the Bang and Olufsen speakers under a thick grey strip. This layout adds uniformity and gives the device a classy look. The overall build quality of the device is very good.

Multimedia Since the device boasts some serious Asus N55SF Notebook Nvidia Display under the hood, a Blu-ray drive, Bang and Olufsen speakers with a dedicated subwoofer and a display with x resolution, expectations are pretty high. For the most part the device doesn't disappoint. HD movies run very smoothly on the device.

For the most part, the visual performance of the device is pretty good. Key concern We're unsure about the keyboard though.

It looks horrid compared to those of many comparable laptops, for a start. The letter keys seem a little compressed for such a large machine, and although they have a lovely spring to them when you're typing, it's easy to accidentally hit the wrong key.

This problem is exacerbated by the location of the volume control keys on the left-hand side. It's very easy to hit one of them when going for Tab or holding down shift — largely because we're so used to these keys being at the edge of the keyboard.

A bad usability flaw there; suddenly you see a volume control graphic pop up in front of you as you type. Sound, which has traditionally been a weakness for laptops, certainly isn't neglected here. It was too loud for our living room, so we really gave it a challenge by bringing it into the office.

While Asus N55SF Notebook Nvidia Display lists both versions on their site though lacking an explanation as to why this split was madea glance at NewEgg suggests this "A" version is the more common of the two powering MSI and Lenovo laptops while the "B" version resides almost exclusively in an Alienware. You can recognize the "A" version by the use of GDDR5, but since it and the "B" version are so bizarrely matched we can't really tell definitively which one would be the faster Asus N55SF Notebook Nvidia Display the two.

It's essentially a die-harvested version of GF, and is identifiable by both the use of DDR3 and memory configurations of either 1.
